Recent MIT study reveals a weird…
yet childish-simple 3D solar array…
that has amazingly powerful results.

It’s the cheapest, easiest way to
effortlessly make your own
"personal power plant"... and have a
perpetual source of cheap green
electricity for anything heading our way.

You don’t have to be an electrician
to do it, there’s no maintenance needed,
it doesn’t take up a lot of space and the
best part: you won’t need to rely on the
power grid anymore.

Yes, they can be much more efficient if aimed toward the noon sun
instead of lying flat on a north-facing roof, but the article admits
the MIT scheme still isn't as efficient as tracking.
"While the 3D PV design increases the required flat-panel area, the PV
panels themselves are often the lowest-cost component in a solar
installation."

If you are willing to accept the appearance and hazards of the tower
on your lawn then why not aim them correctly on your roof? Home Depot
sells permanent stainless steel safety anchors that attach under the
ridge vent and make installing and maintaining panels on your roof
much safer.
