I'm doing research for a friend who wants an emergency generator for her RV. It isn't where I can see it. I've gathered from a short search that the 3 prong are 30 amp and the 4 prong are 50 amp.
A dual fuel would probably be better and inverter style would also be better.
What else? Adaptor cords?

Prong number and current rating are unrelated, IME. Get photos of the
connectors, or rubbings, clear enough to read the numbers.
